Nesjavellir: Nesjavellir is situated North of the Hengill area. The geothermal activity of this area is used by Orkuveita Reykjavíkur to provide electricity and hot water to Reykjavík. The low sun at this time of the year and the trail location, North of the Hengill range, explain for the colour of the pictures. This walk was done on December 1st, 2007.
